ગત વર્ષે મેં ઇ મેલ દ્વારા અને બે જુદી જુદી બેઠકમાં મારા વિચારો ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય સરિતાને પ્રકાશન ક્ષેત્રે આગળ લાવી શકાય તે બાબતે ચર્ચા કરી હતી અને ધારણા રાખી હતી કે આપણે 2009 માં જેટલા પુસ્તક પ્રસિધ્ધ કરી શકીયે છે . જે આપ સૌની જાણ માટે અત્રે લખુ છું

અંતાક્ષરી જોતા જોતા કીરિટ ભક્તાને મનમાં વિચાર આવ્યો કે જો ફીલ્મી ગીતો ની અંતાક્ષરી હોય તો ગુજરાતી ગીતો અને શેરોની અંતાક્ષરી કેમ ન થઈ શકે? એમના વિચારમાં છુપાયેલી ઉત્સુકતાએ મને વિચારતો કરી મુક્યો અને આ વાત સત્ય થતી ત્યારે જણાઇ જ્યારે સુમન અજ્મેરી અને રસીક મેઘાણી કક્કાવારી પ્રમાણે શેરોની યાદી તૈયાર કરતા [...]

“ચાલો ગુજરાત્”ના ઉદઘોષથી પ્રેરાઈને ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય સરિતા-હ્યુસ્ટનની વિશિષ્ઠ કૌશલ્યતા ધરાવતા ૧૨ સભ્યોની ટુકડી ૨૮ ઓગષ્ટના રોજ પહોંચી. સુનીલ નાયક ની આગેવાનીમાં શરુ થતા આ અધિવેશનમાં ૧૫૦૦૦ જેટલા ગુજરાતીઓની સરભરા કરવા કરાયેલુ આયોજન ખુબ જ વ્યવસ્થીત હતું.
